The R.J. Marshall Company has expanded its range of solutions for flame retardant polypropylene compounds,
where the FR package is a Halogen/Antimony combination.
FD313S has been designed to replace 100% of the Antimony Trioxide,
(while maintaining a V-0 rating), with significant cost savings
and less price volatility.
A second product FD440 has been designed to replace 50% of the
Antimony Trioxide and provides the formulator the flexibility to further
tailor the replacement level to the specific formulation in question. Again
this product allows for V-0 performance with significant cost reduction.
Additionally, both Flame Defense synergists have been observed to
reduce the flow/dripping of the material during UL94 testing when compared
to an Antimony Trioxide containing sample.
